Where Moms Connect
Leader: Melissa Lovin

When we get together; I want to encourage you in your faith, but I also want to be encouraged by yours.

Romans 1:12

Why does St. Augustine Church need this ministry?

To provide a safe environment for moms with children ages 0 to 18 years of age to enjoy meaningful conversation, laughter, and friendship as you’re supported in your journey through momhood.  This provides a space for all the moms to get to know each other better.

What do team members do?

  • Attend meetings twice a month typically the 1st and 3rd Thursday evening of the month from September through May
  • We will have Moms Night Out from June through August
  • Participate in the subject matter for the evening
  • Provide support and encouragement for other moms in the group
  • Pray for ourselves and each other
  • Attend The Mom Conference in the winter

Suggested Skills:

  • Encourage others to join our group

Time required:

  • Attend 90 minute meetings twice a month.
  • Optional to spend time with the devotional book that supports our program
  • Optional to pray for each other outside of group

Will I work alone or as part of a team?

  • You will work alone and as part of a team during the meetings
  • You will work alone if you use your devotional book outside of meetings
