Why does St. Augustine Church need this ministry?

Music enhances the quality of the worship experience.  It reflects the diversity of our parish membership with a repertoire spanning a wide range of Christian music styles.

What do team members do?

  • Sing traditional hymns

  • Explore new music which may nurture and appeal to those joining us in our Christian journey

  • Provide inspiration and adoration in worship

  • Lead the congregation in singing

  • Offer special anthems

Suggested Skills:

  • Ability to sing with or accompany others

  • Sight-reading is helpful

  • Punctuality, faithful attendance at practices

Time required:

  • One hour of rehearsal before Sunday service

  • Participation at services
